@Shahin Bahremand: Thanks Shahin. It is a beautiful rugged coastline.

Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom

I'm sure there are many who are there in spirit . . looks an ideal place to 'find' oneself.

@Ronnie 2¢: Ha, Ronnie, if you knew how right you were with your first words! I have my back to Flinders golf course that hugs the coastline on the Mornington peninsula only about an hour from Melbourne. There were indeed spirited golfers and plaintif cries of 'fore!' behind me.

An invitation to sit !

@Jean-Benoît Maréchal: Certainly. A seat for fatigued golfers.

Devi from Chennai, India

There must be some invisiblesould seated here :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

@Devi: Perhaps Devi. This seat is situated in the area called 'The Coffin'! Not sure why it is named like this. I assumed it must be due to the fate of errant golf balls. Perhaps it is something more sinister? You have me wondering now.

I have discovered the answer to that question. Here is the real answer.

The Coffin
Flinders' best-known hole, designed in 1926 by Dr Alistair Mackenzie. The perfect tee shot will land on the plateau between the two ravines (coffins) leaving an approach shot to a severely sloping green that needs to finish below the hole to allow an uphill putt.
On Navy training days cannon fire provides an additional hazard.
