Frogmouth 2

Episode two commenced when I went around to the back of the house to sweep up the leaves from the trees.

On the paving were distinctive droppings. I looked up and saw, not only my elusive TAWNY FROGMOUTH, but I saw something huddled up next to it!
Yes, you guessed it! A chick !

A Tawny Frogmouth and her chick always perch on a branch looking in opposite directions for safety. Here you see the chick's tail feathers to the left of its mother.
