An article published on May 9, 2015 describes the loss of the temples in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur.

Temple on the left: Kasthamandap
This temple built from the wood of one tree was completely destroyed. Buried under the pile of rubble lies a plaque dating back to 1048. As it was after the earthquake.
Temple to the right: Maju Dega
One of the original temples that stood proud in Durbar square ... gone. Images of the destruction may be seen here
Temple in the background: Narayan Vishnu
This temple was undergoing reconstruction. The scaffolding was not enough to save it. It collapsed also.
