Tassili n'Ajjer - 2

I have been fiddling around with some old slides. I was quite happy with the way they came out. This was taken in Tassili n'Ajjer, an old water and wind worn plateau in Algeria near the borders of Libya, Niger and Mali in 1978. 'Tasili n Ajjer' in Berber means 'Plateau of the Rivers'. I spent a week trekking though this UNESCO World Heritage National Park with two Berber guides and their donkeys. An unforgettable experience.

I will respond to your kind comments as soon as I can. Thanks for dropping by!

Has me wondering how much the shapes might have changed in the almost-40 years . . but I guess that's nothing compared to the age of the rocks.
