Today: A Pacific Black Duck

Recently I was shown a birdhide close by that I didn't know about. I returned to discover how perfectly positioned it is to capture the golden light of the late afternoon.

Here I discovered Swamphens (Porphyrio porphyrio); Australian Wood Ducks (Chenonetta jubata); Grey Teals (Anas gracilis); Chestnut Teals (Anas castanea); and Pacific Black Ducks (Anas superciliosa) feeding and frollicking in the wetland waters.
