Just love these photos that give us a glimpse of other cultures and lives through out the world, This one is outstanding, you can almost feel the atmosphere of the place... Beautiful

@Martin: Thank you Martin, as you see, I am captivated by the spiritual, mystical environments and minority peoples of other cultures. The atmosphere that night was quite extraordinary. I will post a couple more of this evening. Thx for stopping by and making a comment!

@ordinaryimages: The light was magic that night. Better without a flash. I cursed not having a tripod with me, but some shots have scraped across the line for posting. Cheers!

Fascinating... your really are very good with documentary type images, Helen!! How was India? I know I could never travel there... so will live vicariously through your images!!

Yes, I'm back... will see how things go... And when are you coming to Canada?

24 Jan 2010 7:16pm

@amy: Whoo hoo! Great to see you back. I missed you.
India? I fell in love with India. Colour? You don't know the meaning of colour until you visit India. I will return. This trip was short and for work, next time will be for photos, people and food, and, as soon as possible.
Canada? Just received a visit. Reciprocal visit probably in 2011. Planning a big trip on a world ticket. You are definitely on the visit list!

A night shot full of interest and glowing electric lamps everywhere - quite nice considering I don't really like over warm night shots.

@Curly: Thanks for stopping by Curly. I loved the mystical feel of this place. I am posting a couple more of these warm shots. I hope you enjoy them too.
