I like it too, but I'm wondering just why is he washing the pavements?

@Curly: This is taken in the old town of Lijiang, China. When the men brought in large hoses to clean the streets, I was amazed to see that the shopkeepers rush out with their brooms and scrub the lanes. The lady in black with her back to us has a broom, as does the other man on the back right-hand side.
