Lee from Fort Frances Ontario, CanadaGreat use of light. A good candid street shot. 30 Apr 2009 11:35am @Lee: Thanks! @Sarah: Thanks. It was a gorgeous warm afternoon glow. Bill Jennings from Los Altos (Bay Area Calif), United StatesI love how the color of the dress is picked up by the fruit she is standing near, and vice versa. For myself, I believe I would crop out the couple walking the other direction on the far right of the scene: and let the flag in the background be right near the edge of the newly cropped image. 30 Apr 2009 6:34pm @Bill Jennings: Hi. Funnily enough Bill, I tried that, but the photo missed the balance of the dark edge and it also looked very unbalanced with the subject on the right-hand side. I didn't have much more time to fiddle so I posted it as it was. @eva: Thanks Eva Craig from Vacaville, California, United StatesFabulous! Love your street shots Helen! 30 Apr 2009 9:52pm @Craig: Thanks Craig. A great compliment coming from you. Cheers ginger from Melbourne, Australiathe splashes of orange are lovely.. pulling elements of the image together.. 1 May 2009 9:02am |
