@amy: The light was beautiful through this bloom. I was shooting low *I wonder who inspired me to try that? ;-)
I didn't know I had taken a picture of the ant. I probably wouldn't have even been this close had I realised it was there!

@Laurie: Thsi 'little' ant is about life-size if you view the image on large. We call them Bull Ants. They are to be repected as they are very aggressive and have a very nasty sting. You can read a bit more about them here
