Field of lost dreams

Posted by Helen (Melbourne, Australia) on 11 November 2008 in Plant & Nature.

It occurred to me on Rememberance Day that if each petal on each flower in this photo represented one Australian life lost in WWW1 that there are not enough flowers. A field of aspirations and dreams cut short. Let us all hope that as a species on Earth we can all move towards forging stronger links with others whilst appreciating their differences, working on better negotiation skills to build a world of understanding, tolerance and hope.

Constructive feedback is your greatest compliment; caring enough to bother saying something ... thanks for visiting!
