My Special Place 1

Posted by Helen (Melbourne, Australia) on 7 November 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

Those of you who have been faithfully visiting me for years are already familiar with my 'special places'. I travel the world yet I always return home to my phototherapy places. This beach in this photo is very important to me as I spend a large amount of my leisure time here. This theme has made me realise that I am very lucky to have these places in my life.

Thanks to Kylie for the challenge.

Constructive feedback is your greatest compliment; caring enough to bother saying something ... thanks for visiting!

@Joan: Thanks Joan. Your comment is quite touching. I am glad that I have managed to capture the connectedness that occurs when I take some portraits. There needs to be a generosity of spirit there somewhere.

@Dimitrios: I love the sea too, but I desire variety more. The world is such an astonishing place with so much to see, henceforth my incessant travelling. I know I am lucky to have my special places and I cherish that very much. You take care too and thanks old friend! (I mean 'old' as 'longtime friend' not 'aged friend') ;-)
