Dimitrios from ATHENS, GreeceSTRANGE EARTH COLOUR, creates a dynamic contrast with sky 22 Jul 2008 9:19am Craig from Vacaville, California, United StatesI really like the top half of your exposure. I'm not sure you were entirely successful in breaking the rule of thirds with the strong horizon in the center of your image. It might have been more successful if you had devoted 2/3s of the image to the sky since clouds are your subject. Now watch, I'll go and do the same thing tomorrow! LOL 22 Jul 2008 11:50am Sri Harsha from Melbourne, AustraliaHey Helen, I think it is a great shot showing good contrast. The clouds and the dry land seem almost paradoxical. Amazing how many interpretations can be made of the same image. Well done! 22 Jul 2008 11:53am zOOm from Paris, FranceI like the different tones of the ground layers here. Almost an impressionnist painting. 22 Jul 2008 6:05pm Fliss from Melbourne Beach, United StatesI remember the droughts back home... the colours in this are gorgeous... 22 Jul 2008 8:21pm Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesI love the layers. It makes a nice composition. 22 Jul 2008 9:55pm DarkElf from Perth, Australianice layers of colours and textures... the earth colour really stands out! 23 Jul 2008 3:01am ginger from Melbourne, AustraliaI fee that the land counter balances perfectly the sky.. I like the drama of the landscape, the sharp light like accentuating focus on the contrasts... fabulous! 24 Jul 2008 6:49am |
