I really like the top half of your exposure. I'm not sure you were entirely successful in breaking the rule of thirds with the strong horizon in the center of your image. It might have been more successful if you had devoted 2/3s of the image to the sky since clouds are your subject. Now watch, I'll go and do the same thing tomorrow! LOL

Hey Helen, I think it is a great shot showing good contrast. The clouds and the dry land seem almost paradoxical. Amazing how many interpretations can be made of the same image. Well done!

I fee that the land counter balances perfectly the sky.. I like the drama of the landscape, the sharp light like accentuating focus on the contrasts... fabulous!
