Rider on the stormPosted by Helen (Melbourne, Australia) on 15 July 2008 in Miscellaneous. I had never heard of mammatus cloud before I looked at Peter Wharton's storm chasing photos (then looked up Google) some time back. Unbelievably, the other day whilst driving to the shopping centre, I spotted the most amazing mammatus clouds. By the time I sped home (I didn't do my shopping) it had died down, but I did snap one or two photos that showed the formations. Thanks Peter! Constructive feedback is your greatest compliment; caring enough to bother saying something ... thanks for visiting! Visit my site - www.warnod.net
