Sidonie from Sydney, AustraliaOh, I can feel the chill of coming snow in this sky - great POV, mood, focus. 3 Jul 2008 9:40am Dimitrios from ATHENS, GreeceI like these sharp contrasts, focus goes on the shape and not the tecture or colour, but the blue give the balance on the dark side of a picture like this one. 3 Jul 2008 11:33am Rui Borges from Sintra, PortugalI just the different tones of blue you were able to capture. 3 Jul 2008 4:40pm Random Eyesight from sc, CanadaI agree with Cheryl I like the simplicity and the perspective of the shot. Well done. 3 Jul 2008 6:38pm amy from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaI love that sky, Helen!! All those shades of blue with the plants in silhouette is outstanding! 3 Jul 2008 11:31pm Benjamin from Victoria, CanadaA picture's worth a thousand words but this has shown me that a few words can add a lot to a photo. Your title really draws attention to the spiky, upright alertness of these plants, especially when contrasted with the soft puffy clouds. The sharp contrast - black silhouettes versus the baby blue sky also works beautifully. Well done. 4 Jul 2008 5:04am |
