IT ACTUALLY FEELS LIKE STANDING THERE!

15 Apr 2008 8:55am

@Dimitrios: Thanks D. Yes it does. I thought it was just because I had actually been there. I am glad you feel it too.

martie from Okinawa, Japan

What a wonderful photo! You were so lucky to be there - the bridge is so interesting, but the foliage and the river look so captivating.

15 Apr 2008 9:55am

@martie: The light was almost like that light you capture at sunset as there was so much smoke in the air. Unfortunately this pall was due to many wildfires in the area. I was told that the rains had not come for 3 years. It was very, very dry in the forest.

Kris from Middlesbrough, United Kingdom

Striking! I wouldn't walk on it :) but striking none the less.

Anita from West Nottingham, United States

Did you cross it? Nice photo.

15 Apr 2008 11:27am

@Anita: I was crazy, but I did cross it. Much of the wood was quite rotton. It was actually worse than it looks.

Ana Lúcia from Leiria, Portugal

This looks dangerous.

Michael Rawluk from Prince George, Canada

Did you dare? Did Indiana Jones come running across? That is a gorgeous shot. The slight mist adds mystery.

15 Apr 2008 5:12pm

@Michael Rawluk: Ha, you make me laugh. You know, that is what I was thinking when I got out half way .... that bridge in Indiana Jones. The last half was the worst.

Observing from Chester, United Kingdom

Nice shot, brave as well, you seem to have the same camera as me (s9500), fo you find it hard to capture shots as sharp as you might like them?
