e. from New York, NY, United StatesBeautiful! It must be amazing to stand out there... Great capture. 15 Apr 2008 6:50am @Dimitrios: Thanks D. Yes it does. I thought it was just because I had actually been there. I am glad you feel it too. martie from Okinawa, JapanWhat a wonderful photo! You were so lucky to be there - the bridge is so interesting, but the foliage and the river look so captivating. 15 Apr 2008 9:55am @martie: The light was almost like that light you capture at sunset as there was so much smoke in the air. Unfortunately this pall was due to many wildfires in the area. I was told that the rains had not come for 3 years. It was very, very dry in the forest. Kris from Middlesbrough, United KingdomStriking! I wouldn't walk on it :) but striking none the less. 15 Apr 2008 10:44am Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesAwesome; great perspective of this shakey path. 15 Apr 2008 10:55am @Anita: I was crazy, but I did cross it. Much of the wood was quite rotton. It was actually worse than it looks. @Ana Lúcia: It was! Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaDid you dare? Did Indiana Jones come running across? That is a gorgeous shot. The slight mist adds mystery. 15 Apr 2008 5:12pm @Michael Rawluk: Ha, you make me laugh. You know, that is what I was thinking when I got out half way .... that bridge in Indiana Jones. The last half was the worst. Observing from Chester, United KingdomThat's a fantastic picture, it takes you across the river. 15 Apr 2008 5:42pm amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaI can't believe you crossed it you crazy woman!!! Indiana Jones, indeed!! LOL FANtastic shot, Helen!! I think it's the line of infinity you captured so well that makes me feel like I'm standing there. 16 Apr 2008 1:30am Tom from Liverpool, United KingdomNice shot, brave as well, you seem to have the same camera as me (s9500), fo you find it hard to capture shots as sharp as you might like them? 30 Apr 2008 10:44pm Micke from sandviken, Swedenlike the depth of the image, do not know if the bridge could cope to bear my weight:) 29 Sep 2008 6:52pm |
