Over the next few weeks I will run a couple of photo-series from my brief sojourn in Thailand.

Thanks to all who stopped over and commented whilst I was away. Much appreciated.

@Dimitrios: Thanks D. I'll catch up on a little sleep then prepare a few mini-series for you.

nice shot, how did you like Thailand? Although Bangkok was interesting it was probably my least favorite place if i'm being honest :)

@Jrask: Hi! Thailand has always been a stopover on the way to somewhere else for me. I didn't spent much time in Bangkok, but this time I saw more of it than I ever have before. I was an observer out of curiosity as I have spent so much time in other countries surrounding Thailand. My opinion? Mmm ... improving. Why? You do not see many travellers off the well-trodden trails out of season. If you are on them? Tourist watching is fascinating.

Welcome back!!! Interesting image. Is the picture in memory of someone do you think? Or is it some official of the country? Looking forward to the series.

This is interesting for the detail and the the almost monochrome/colour contrast. It reminds me of one of those photos that are partially desaturated in Photoshop. Welcome back, too!
