Dimitrios from ATHENS, Greeceits a crisp shot, lets see, it says, KEEP LONG AND PROSPER GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER.... 20 Nov 2007 8:10am Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomWhat a cool find, I wonder what it says, have you found out yet? 20 Nov 2007 8:45am @Richard_Irwin: No. No one has come clean yet. Either nobody knows or nobody can say. ..... I dread to think. Yvon from Meerkerk, NetherlandsFinally time to catch up with your photos. Love your graffiti series, this shot in particular! 20 Nov 2007 2:12pm amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaAbsolutely love the idea of graffiti on the bamboo!! Brilliant take Helen!! And I have no idea what it says... hopefully someone will step up. Thanks so much Helen for the atta-girl! I have to admit I was quite jazzed about being on the spotlight page with my petroglyph. ;-) 20 Nov 2007 8:35pm Bender Bending Rodriguez from Bad Moon Rising, AustraliaThe enscription of words/symbols/thoughts on bamboo must echo around the world. Only the other day I noticed a similar display at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. Kanji seems so much less irritating than 'Johnno loves Shazza' or words of wisdom to that effect. :) 21 Nov 2007 3:10am Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaIt says, 'Please don't write on the bamboo.' Or something. In any case, I love this image, and it's a very creative entry to the theme. 21 Nov 2007 4:36am Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesNow that's some unusual graffiti, though maybe not if you live in China. 29 Nov 2007 2:49pm |
