Graffiti on bamboo at Huangguoshu Waterfall, China
(I hope it doesn't say anything offensive. I can't read it. Can someone tell me what it says?)

Constructive feedback is your greatest compliment; caring enough to bother saying something ... thanks for visiting!

@Richard_Irwin: No. No one has come clean yet. Either nobody knows or nobody can say. ..... I dread to think.

Absolutely love the idea of graffiti on the bamboo!! Brilliant take Helen!! And I have no idea what it says... hopefully someone will step up.

Thanks so much Helen for the atta-girl! I have to admit I was quite jazzed about being on the spotlight page with my petroglyph. ;-)

The enscription of words/symbols/thoughts on bamboo must echo around the world. Only the other day I noticed a similar display at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. Kanji seems so much less irritating than 'Johnno loves Shazza' or words of wisdom to that effect. :)

It says, 'Please don't write on the bamboo.' Or something. In any case, I love this image, and it's a very creative entry to the theme.

Now that's some unusual graffiti, though maybe not if you live in China.
