Lest we forget [2]

Posted by Helen (Melbourne, Australia) on 12 November 2007 in Lifestyle & Culture.

My mother recited this to me on occasions thoughout my life. She remembered it from a handhewn gravestone that lay nearby to her infant brother's gravestone in the country cemetery where she grew up. We took a nostaligic tour back to her hometown a while ago, just the two of us, and we searched for and found the graves that were once lost in her memories.
