Someone else has posted a yellow dandelion flower today; you show one gone to seed. Yours is beautiful and tells a story. That is the measure of a very effective image, I believe. Nicely done.

Okay, I just made a breathy noise somewhere between "Cor..." and "Ahhh...".

I have shot several series of dandelions in an effort to truly capture the wonder they hold in a child's eyes. I have gone so far as to set up an outdoor studio on a small mountaintop with portable strobes and the dandelions elevated on light stands to achieve the proper angle with the background. I have used multiple camera bodies in hopes of capturing this essence. People opened their wallets and purchased prints. (One was even a gift from a groom to his bride.)

My efforts pale in comparison to this shot.
