lucky dayPosted by Helen (Melbourne, Australia) on 7 July 2007 in Lifestyle & Culture. I wish you all good luck and or fortune today! Many people believe that 07.07.07 will be a very lucky day. I certainly do not believe this but I wouldn't complain if some good fortune came my way today. Someone told me that the Chinese may not be as excited as seven is a number associated with death. I am not certain this is true, perhaps someone can enlighten me. Constructive feedback is your greatest compliment; caring enough to bother saying something ... thanks for visiting! Ronald K. Johnson from Mount Gambier, AustraliaGreat stuff again Helen, one think no luck attached to your style just good workmanship ! 7 Jul 2007 9:04am @Ronald K. Johnson: You see Ron, it is my lucky day after all! What a grand compliment, I am humbled. You've made my day. Thanks. Bron from Canberra, AustraliaAnother lovely picture Helen - I heard on radio today that many couples are marrying today because of the rare/lucky date. It's been fortunate for me - I bought 2 red chairs and then snuggled in front of the fire while small snowflakes fell into my garden. :) 7 Jul 2007 9:43am @Bron: Thanks for your comment. Snow! Red chair, red wine and crackling red fire weather! It is cold and rainy here so I went for a walk round the lake. Stand by ... I took a couple I will post. Yvon from Meerkerk, NetherlandsGreat photo. No special luck for me today, but no un-luck either. 7 Jul 2007 1:13pm @Rags: Thanks :-) Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaReally nice! I don't mind that she's off-focus because the first parasol is in focus. And sharp or not, she has a lovely expression. 8 Jul 2007 1:21am @Damon Schreiber: Thanks for that Damon. @Amit: Thanks for passing by :-) amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaI agree with Damon, Helen. It also reminds me of something I just can't put my finger on... dang, I hate it when that happens!! LOL But I love the colours and her expression. Great image to post!!! 8 Jul 2007 2:25am Rahul from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaBeautiful shot Helen, the softness has given it a wonderful dreamy effect. Nice perspective. :) 9 Jul 2007 5:00am Alain from Lutetia, FranceVery nice expression! Great composition! Bravo Helen! 14 Jul 2007 10:24am |
