This famous gorge is reputed to be many things, it really depends who you talk to. It is: - the longest gorge in the world - the deepest gorge in the world - the narrowest gorge in the world ------- more tomorrow -----

looks like a nice place to hike around - I like how you can see the harsh lines cut through the rock - it makes a good walkway.

@Rene: Tiger Leaping Gorge is close to Lijiang in Yunnan Province, China. The Yangtzhe river comes hurtling down from the Tibetan mountains and makes it's first turn not far from here. It then hurtles into this narrow gorge. The power of the water can be seen in the next photo.
