Happy Mother's Day

I had selected a beautiful flower image to post for Mother's Day when this photo caught my eye. Suddenly this photo seemed a much better choice.
I was captivated by the look in this Burmese tribewoman's eyes. To me it symbolised
the labour,
the day to day struggle,
the hope, the aspirations,
the care, the fears, the wishes
and above all else the unconditional love that mothers have for their children.
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there. Your children are your eternity.

A beautiful photo and sentiment. The headwwear of the woman's traditional dress reminds me of the Black Hmong community near Sapa, Vietnam. :)

Yes , I agree with you. The mountain peoples that live in Vietnam Laos, China and Burma have great similarities yet are so diverse.
