I am surprised to see so many people commenting on the images in this series as being 'scary'. It makes me wonder how children feel when visiting these places.

Vintage fairground ducks - battered and "moderne" - very interesting cluster! So, I suppose these are the ones that hang on a belt that runs along the back of the tent and you take a pot shot, and if you hit five or so, you win a big stick of fairy floss - yes?

@Sidonie: Embarrassingly I don't know. I was in photo snapping mode and sizing up with the eye and talking to my Mum at the same time, not really focussing on what they were doing with them. :-D
