Sights unimagined ... #2

Posted by Helen (Melbourne, Australia) on 3 April 2007 in Architecture.

There was a crooked man and he walked a crooked mile,
He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile.
He bought a crooked cat, which caught a crooked mouse.
And they all lived together in a little crooked house

Even worse than the leening houses we have in Amsterdam. Great shot. What's on top of the crooked house? Is it a birds nest?

Cool capture! Way up north in the Yukon some of the buildings lean precariously as well because of the perma frost... they've since learned how to build on the perma frost.

@Evi: This photo was taken in a place called In Dein or Indein which lies on a small tributary of Inle Lake in Myanmar. It is an extraordinary place. I would like to learn more about it and will perhaps return one day.
