Alex from Jeju, South Korea

Is that fog or dirt that gives it the hazy look? Whatever it is, it was captured nicely.

17 Feb 2007 9:10am

@Alex: A bit of both. Thanks Alex

Sidonie from Sydney, Australia

"Rolled gold" is the phrase of the week - and so I'll use it - you're pulling one rolled-gold image after another out of your treasure trove. This one is every old image of traditional Asia rolled into one. Pure nostalgia.

@Sidonie: Thanks Sidonie *blush

Francis from Hong Kong

purelysnow from Chengdu, China

I love the effect of the light captured by the camera

18 Feb 2007 4:02am

@purelysnow: I did too. I was excited when I caught this.
Unfortunately lost the next 50 or so sunset photos to a botched CD burn. *Sob.
I learned something that day:
1. Buy enough cards to last the distance when you go on hols and
2. Don't only check the first and last photos on your CD burn, check the middle too!

Chris Sullivan from Melbourne, Australia

I love the images from the dream or imagined series. The light, the shadows, the dust; truly amazing photography!

I'm speechless! I saw your photos: your Myanmar shots are really fantastic, but this one ...! I like so much to travel, but I haven't thought about this country; now after seeing your pictures, it comes to my plan! Thank you, Helen!
