Bronnie from Christchurch, New ZealandWonderful light, the framing and everything, another lovely photo. 12 Feb 2007 8:35am Francis from Hong KongBeuatiful light Helen was this created in Post production? Anway its till very effective. 12 Feb 2007 8:40am @Francis: No post production at all. I was madly snapping photos of the monks in their line, when I slowed down, took a deep breath and told myself to "LOOK". There, down the line was a ray of light through the trees, shining on this monk. SNAP! Manuela Photography from Hainburg (near Frankfurt/Main), GermanyAnother shot worth National Geographic Helen! 12 Feb 2007 9:16am Sidonie from Sydney, AustraliaSimply superb - technical achievement of the highest order, and your choice of subject is rarified! 12 Feb 2007 9:16am Dimitrios from ATHENS, Greecemy goodness Helen, you are professional. Well done. 12 Feb 2007 12:56pm Jerry from Tampa, United StatesHelen - this is a wonderful image! Excellent tones and I like the way you brought out the main subject! Fantastic job!!!! Could you tell me how you put the great border/matting around your image??? 12 Feb 2007 2:17pm @Jerry: Thanks. The border is done in Corel PaintShop Pro/Image/Pictureframe. I like it as I can choose the colour from the image itself with the colour picker. I do the fonts in PhotoShop afterwards. Still from Valence, FranceThis one is great . I like a lot the expresions that you have captured. Brilliant 12 Feb 2007 3:12pm Anne from White Rock, CanadaBeautiful shot! The light coming through the trees made this photo extraordinary, instead of ordinary. :) 13 Feb 2007 12:33am Andrea C. from Vienna, Austriathis is a stunning portrait! Sterling, United StatesVery nicely done and a good example of what can be found when we slow down. I know I have missed good shots because I got in too much of a hurry.
