Following the interest in the spectacular rice terraces I thought I would post a photo of the people in this region of Yunnan Province.

Women shopping at the market in Yuang Yang, China. The colourfully dressed women (I think they are Dai, but I have forgotton which tribe exactly) hand stitch all the colourful embroidery bands used on their clothing. The colours of the clothes designate the the minority tribe they belong to.
