I have been away and tonight I am tired. In the absence of creativity .... tonight I thought I'd share one of my exciting photographic moments. I was standing in the stinking hot Borneo jungle along the lower Kinabatangan River, trying to catch a glimpse of a wild orangutan that we had heard in the trees. Afterwards, amongst my twenty or more shots of leaves and blurred foliage was this one! Suddenly the sweat that had run down into my eyes seemed worth it. A female with a baby! And neither of them could resist a peek at me! Oh joy.
Constructive feedback is your greatest compliment; caring enough to bother saying something ... thanks for visiting!
What a moment to capture....it is most difficult to catch those rare moments...

cool shot. love how the sun illuminates the leaves and the baby's arm (also like its playful expression).

The way the fur is backlit on the smaller one is awesome.

I love the expressions you captured. The mother looks so wise; I like her juxtaposition to the innocent face and pose of the baby.
